The apartment is located in the vibrant resort of Qawra, close to Buġibba Beach (a 10-minute walk) and Ix-Xtajta Beach (a 12-minute walk) on Salina Bay – the perfect place for sun worshippers and swimmers who can enjoy the crystal-clear waters. The area is well known as a tourist hot-spot with many bars showing British football, party places and restaurants. The town is also home to many water-sport activities, including banana boat, speed boat and jetski rides, as well as kayaking, snorkelling and diving.
For history enthusiasts, the imposing Bugibba Battery is a 15-minute walk away and offers a glimpse into Malta's military past. To explore further afield, a short drive of around 20 minutes will take you to both the ancient Megalithic Temples of Malta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the historic city of Mdina.
Malta's typical Mediterranean climate is sunny with an average daily sunshine of five to six hours in mid-winter and 12 hours in summer, with over 300 days of sunshine and warm weather. Summers are hot, dry and very sunny. Its remarkably mild winters and intense blue skies make it an ideal place for long walks in the lush, green countryside.
